We grant funds to a wide range of organisations and initiatives – from the arts to climate action. Our annual community grants program is an open call for applications each spring.
We work with people and our partners to stimulate new ideas, build participation, and strengthen philanthropy. We encourage giving of all shapes and sizes.
We work with donors and our partners to understand philanthropy from a variety of viewpoints.
We invite others to the table to share their time, ideas, and talents.
We celebrate and amplify the good work happening all around us.
Donors make a gift to create a fund that is held in perpetuity with a portion of the annual income allocated to charitable causes. These funds are pooled, invested and then administered and stewarded by the Fundy Community Foundation, our Board of Directors, and our Investment Manager.
Each year, investment income earned on these funds is flowed back into the community, primarily through grants to local charities. The original donations remain in the fund and continue to grow and grant year after year.

“When the FCF was founded I embraced the opportunity to establish a fund in memory of our son. How better than to invest in an organization run by the people of the community for the community? I knew that community foundations had been successful for many years across Canada; we’re so lucky to have one here that we can support.”
