The MHS Legacy Scholarship Fund was started from excess funds after two school reunions were held in Milltown in 1982 and 2000. The Chairman of the Milltown Superior School Legacy Scholarship Fund Committee, Maynard Purcell, said, “We wanted to keep Milltown on the map by helping a deserving Milltown resident each year. Through this scholarship fund, we are investing in the young people of this area so they, too, can give back to our community some day.”
